On the start of the most wonderful years of life
It doesn't feel so great
Secrets begin to unravel
And my heart begins to break
Situations become my dreams
And thought engulfs me
A friend to an enemy
A friend to a love
Is that what I was dreaming of

With all the times that I called you mine
I can never repay you for all the times when you lied
With boundaries within my soul
I held you in my heart but you had to let me go
Bittersweet memories encase my mind
It's easy to find hurt because even false love blinds
Binding images of a heart broken
Mind erased
I don't believe that I let you bring me to this state
I can't forgive you for the wrong you have done to me
I hate you now so set me free
