Draft Workshop March 9

1. Take a look at the author's data collection form along with his or her feeder 2.2 assignment. Does the data sheet collect all of the data necessary to prove the hypothesis? Is there any other data that could be collected to help give more convincing proof of the hypothesis? Is there any other data that could be collected that could shed further light on the hypothesis (e.g. motivations, feelings, etc.)?
2. Has the author integrated research into his or her paper yet? If so, evaluate the use of research. Does it fulfill the demands of the assignment? If not, suggest ways in which the author might use research to support his or her argument.
3. Is the paper divided into sections? Do the section divisions make sense? Are they elegant? Intuitive? Explain your answers.
4. Based on your own research, does the author have the tone appropriate to an academic article in psychology? Why or why not? Suggest ways that the author could improve or establish his or her tone.

1. There is no distinct hyothesis presented in either the data Sheet or feeder 2.2. There is no mention of how many time he thinks he will complete the presented goal. This is something that needs to added in order to create a successfully experiment and project. I think that the data sheet is very complete. He could add a section that shows whether or not that he completed the goal and that day.

2. There is some research but enough to call it subsatntial. there needs to be some more added. There is plently of research material about sleep, so it shouldn't be hard to find.

3. The paper is divided into distinct sections. There is an introduction that introduces the topic and idea. The next papers elaborate on the topic and mention different periods in thhe subject's sleep problems.

4. The tone is no that academic, nut I feel that it is fine and still gets the point across in a sophisticted manner. I guess a little more scientific talk could improve the tone and make it more professional and academic.
