Accomplishments

The Boyz Are Back Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, faith-based organization serving at-risk youth in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, North Carolina. We are dedicated to facilitating the academic, physical, and spiritual development of youth.

2002

Obtained 501(c)(3) status as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization. (April)

2003

Secured in-kind donations and camper sponsorships needed to fund a football camp with life skills training. (January to June)
Held the first annual Education & Sports Clinic at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, NC with 98 youth in attendance. (June)
Began mentoring of youth who attended the June clinic; all 98 youth decided to continue with this optional component of the program. (September)
