More about Marcus Stevenson

Bio:

Graduated from North Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem, NC, in 1987 and Gwinnett Technical College in Atlanta, GA, in 1989;
Worked in retail management for Footlocker following college graduation;.
Started a Bible study for inmates at the Forsyth County Correctional Institute in 1996; later expanded the ministry to include life skills training.
Founded 3MV Management, a community relations firm serving professional athletes, in 2001;
Began working as a substitute teacher in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools to strengthen background interacting with at-risk youth in 2001;
Conceptualized and planned an education and sports clinic in Detroit with Germane Crowell scheduled for September 22-23, 2001 but cancelled due to 9/11;
Co-founded The Boyz Are Back Inc. with Germane Crowell and secured tax exempt status as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2002.
