Google
Google is one of the
best search engines online today. I use this to do research for
school, work, and for pleasure. This quality website is easy for
people of all ages to use.
Weather.com
This extremely accurate website not only allows
me to access the weather for that day, it also provides a projection
of the weather for the next 10 days. Weather.com also helps when
going on vacation, by simply entering your town or city of destination,
the weather report is right in front of you. It is easy to use
and easy to understand, it also provides printable versions of
the forecast.
Tarheel
Blue
This is best place to access any UNC sports information.
Whether it is basketball, baseball or even golf, players' stats
as well as team records can be easily accessed. It also links
to places where you can purchase Carolina merchandise and read
anything you ever wanted to know about the athletics department
at UNC.
Dave Matthews
Band
Not only is the Dave Matthews Band one of the best
bands today, they also have a great website. The site contains
bios on the band members, tour dates, band merchandise, and recent
information on the band. It is entertaining as well as informational.
New
York Times
In college thus far I have found ways to get things
done by doing the least amount of work. This is true for me in
reading the newspaper. The New York Times website is one of the
best because not only is the information provided nearly endless,
you can set it up so they send you an email everyday with the
day's headlines.
Hot
or Not
This website is one that was sent to me one night
as a joke. At first I thought it was rediculous and stupid. After
spending hours at a time on there looking at the different people
and talking to some of them, it is now considered one of my favorite
past times when I am bored. Check it out if you are bored and
want to have a little fun!
