A vintage paper doll cut out.An antique, medium format camera. things i like : photography, records, old family photographs, the fall (not the season),pancakes(just recently I've been eating a lot of them),barthes's camera lucida, vintage paper dolls, reading (I work at the best bookstore in town, The Bull's Head Bookshop),overpriced fashion and products, hats from the 1920s, sushi, I.D magazine (the u.k magazine, not the u.s one), sara gunning, pizza (boring, but true), and law & order (the best television show to ever be!). Also, I'm a fan of these web sites:

WXYC 89.3 FM

WXYC logo. For the past four years I've had the privilege of working at the best college radio station around. You can listen to us online and we play everything from ethiopian music from the 70s to richard hell. My show is every other tuesday from 7-9pm.

the ever unusual mcsweeneys

There is a small and glorious publishing group which produces unusual and often beautiful literary magazines called Timothy McSweeneys Quarterly Concern. It is also responsible for the likes of some odd and great books such as Lemon by Lawrence Krauser. Some of the stories on this site are hilarious if you are into contemporary and odd literature.

part object gallery

A Collier Schorr postcard for her Part Object exhibit. This is a quaint, amazing gallery in carrboro (a town next to chapel hill) that exhibits mostly photographers. I love this place and I wish more people would visit it. Their web site is great because you can view all exhibits, current and past. They have shown the likes of collier schorr, brian eno, cathie opie, richard prince and tammy rae carland (her exhibit is now)....just to name a few brilliant people.

forced exposure records

The Forced Exposure logo.I like records quite a bit and this is a good site for shopping. It's a reliable source for locating that rare import or obscure 1979 lp from the uk- or whatever your fancy (I can be a little nerdy, but that's okay).

asian munchies

A bag of asian candy.Maybe it is because I was born in Singapore and lived in Korea for a couple of years that I'm so addicted to Asian candy and food. This site offers an endless choice of sweets. I know a lot of people who like Pocky, but I've never been a fan. Green tea ice cream and bean curd sweets are a different story though....yum....
