Best Buddies at UNC is an exciting and fun organization! Our college members are paired with Buddies who have developmental disabilities.
Members pledge to contact their buddies once a week, be it by phone, email, or writing letters. Also, members and their buddies hang out at least two times a month.
One-on-one outings in the past ahve included going out for lunch, playing sports or games, and watching movies.
There are also several awesome group outings each semester. We have had a ton of un at picnics, pizza parties, and at the Museum of Life and Science (check out ours cool pics!).
No prior experience is needed to become a member. Anyone who is motivated and enthusiastic can join!
