Hi! I'm K. C. Welcome to my Web page! I am a Junior Journalism/Economics major at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am also the Treasurer of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity-NC Omega Beta Chapter.

I am originally from Hendersonville, NC, where I graduated from Hendersonville High. My parents, Ann and Chuck Carter (the two greatest parents EVER) still live there, where the own and operate A Growing Concern Florist and Greenhouse, THE place to go for all of your gardening needs.

There is not much more for me to say about myself that you cannot interpret from my site, so I'll let you check it out.

I have always wanted a web page, but never had any idea as to how to create one. So fortunately this has been assigned for my Journalism 50 class.

Beginning the project, I had no idea whatsoever as to how I would construct this site, so I have just basically tried to make it an expression of myself, and tried to do some cool stuff. Below, I have some links to my favorite web sites, and I have also done some cool research on Pirates, so definitely check that out.

Here are some of my favorite links:

	I love bullseyeart. It has the funniest cartoons, including my favorite, Space Dog. The animations are outstanding, and the Flash sites are extremely well designed. It is definitely a great place to waste a couple of minutes, or a few hours. Just don't mess with it while you should be working, or you will be sorry!
	Piratesinfo.com has all the information on Pirates that you will ever need, and more! It contains a detailed history of piracy, biographies of famous Pirates, and up-to-date news on any modern piracy happening. It is, without a doubt, THE definitive Pirate site on the web.
	I like to keep up with the news, both local and national, as much as possible. Charlotte.com lets me read the Charlotte Observer online, with no paper to dispose of afterwards.
	I am a big sports fan, and ESPN.com has all the sports news that I ever need. Not only do they report the latest scores, they also have in depth stories on every subject that you can imagine.
	As a brother of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity, and an Executive Board Member, I like to know what is happening with other Pilam chapters. Through the International Headquarters' website, I can see what everybody else is doing, and get ideas for my chapter as well.
	Rick Reilly is one of my favorite writers. I make sure to read every issue of Sports Illustrated, if only to read his columns. They are extremely humorous, and enjoyable to read.
