OBJECTIVE I am excited about pursuing a career in the competive journalism field.
My long-term goal is to work as a news anchorwoman in one of the nation's medium or large size markets. In order to prepare for my future work and gain valuable experience, I would like to obtain an internship with a local television station working on the sets of the station's news broadcasts.

EXPERIENCE Student Assistant,UNC Hospitals; I am working as a student assistant in the Anesthesiology Department of the UNC Hospitals. I perform a variety of tasks including: filing, typing, copying, answering telephones, verifying doctors' credentials, running errands, and providing my assistance whenever and wherever it is needed.

Teacher and Child Caretaker, Our Gang Day Care, Inc.; I worked as a teacher and was responsible for nine young children ages 2 and 3. I was required to include several group and individual sessions as well as indoor and outdoor activities into my daily plans. This job improved my personable skills and provided me good experience working with children and adults.

ACTIVITIES UNC Dance Team
The UNC Dance Team, the High Kicking Heels, is a part of the Carolina Spirit program at UNC-CH. The team consists of 15 girls who cheer at all home Tarheel football and basketball games. We work out and practice approximately four days a week and then we cheer and perform at the games. We are Carolina athletes and must adhere to all NCAA requirements.

March of Dimes Walk
I helped with the March of Dimes Walk in Chapel Hill as part of the charity work the UNC Dance Team does. One of the goals of the dance team is to become more involved in the community and in various charity activities.
