Research Interests:
  Coral Ecophysiology and Conservation

I am particularly interested in understanding how exposure to various stressors influences the physiological response of corals and how this is related to global climate change. It is important  that I establish clear links between my research endeavors and how they may be used by reserve managers and marine conservationists to help protect and conserve coral reefs for future generations to enjoy.  Growing up along the southern coast of Belize I have seen first-hand how environmentally and economically important this system is to coastal communities and the world on a whole.
