Starting Married Life in a Bed of Roses This article is about outside weddings at the Wilson Rose Garden. It's a shame you can't see the pictures, because they are beautiful! This story was a Saturday Feature - in other words, I wrote the entire front page of the Lifestyle section! |

This story describes the life of Tina Turnage, a blind Wilson woman, and her seeing-eye dog, Renessa. Another Saturday Feature for Lifestyle, I wrote this story with the help of the other news intern. Needless to say, it was quite an assignment! |

This article ran on the front page of the Wilson Daily Times. The oldest elementary school in the county was going to be demolished and a new one built in its place. This was a fun article to write because I went to this particular elementary school. |

She Specializes in Cakes, Good Deeds Each Monday, the Wilson Daily Times featuerd a good citizen of Wilson County in what is called the "Neighbors" section. "Neighbors" run on the front page of the newspaper. Generally, interns are assigned these stories. People in the community nominate people for the Neighbor column. For this particular story, I wrote about Jesse Lou White. |
