Norway's
Ridderrenn is an
exciting competition for blind, visually im-
paired, and mobility impaired
skiers, such as Anne-Mette Bredahl and
Cato Zahl Pedersen. Anne-Mette, a blind
clinical psychologist, is Den-
mark’s only Paralympic gold medalist in cross
country skiing. Cato, an
armless mountain climber and slalom skier, won eleven
gold medals
for Norway during the 1980s Disabled Olympics. Competing at
Nor-
way’s 2006 Ridderrenn, they inspire other disabled people to push their
own
limits.
