My sister, mom, me and dad. This was my mom and my sister's first 14ers. Although it's somewhat dark,
it is possible to make out the fact that I am wearing the exact same cotton/wool Mexico poncho that I had
in the La Plata picture from two years before. I think by 1997 I finally adopted the polyester/non-cotton
backpacking fashion.
