Climbed sometime in 1996 with my church high school youth group.
Not only do I not know the exact date I climbed this peak, I also don't
have any pictures, for some reason. However, it was my second 14er, and was
actually the peak that got me interested in climbing 14ers, partly because it
is the only 14er my dad has climbed (he did that in the '70s) and I thought,
"Wow! we should do one together now!" Little did my dad or I know
what I was ultimately getting us into. We did three more that summer - Mt. Princeton,
Grays Peak and Torreys Peak - officially kicking of the 14er experience.
