In September 2005, I went to the Labor Day cluster of dog shows and ran into Joe Carter, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi (PWC) breeder whom I’ve been in contact with for over 4 years. I started the conversation off with – “We are finally ready for our Corgi.” My expectation was that we would get on their waiting list for a litter in the spring/summer. What I didn’t expect was: “Great, we have a litter that will be 8 weeks old on Monday, do you want to meet them. We might have a puppy available.” Thus begins the story of Dash.

Dash has completed Puppy Obedience, Pet Obedience, and the Canine Good Citizen Class offered at Pet Behavior Help. Our future goals include competition in rally and obedience and perhaps dabbling in agility.

Dash has some wonderful dogs in his pedigree. The line breeding that Joe and Dora chose for his litter brought out the best in both dogs.

Dash has grown up quite nicely!
