I have decided that it rains way too much in March.
I have also decided that I am mildly obsessed with the movie Moulin Rouge, a vice that can only be blamed on Jenny and Jen. (Jen has a page dedicated to the movie located here) I have now seen it 5 times and the girls and I are toying with the idea of filming our own production of the movie (dressing up, singing all the songs, acting it out). I take comfort in the fact that Jenny is way more obsessed than I am. She has seen the thing 11 times and is madly in love with Ewan McGregor, you can see pictures of him on her guy page located here (but you will have to scroll down the page a bit).
Spring break was really great. It was nice spending time reconnecting with friends and family (and sleeping in past noon every day). I had a chance see Ice Age with my friends under the guise of going because Morgan (Shiloh's 3 year old daughter) wanted to.... it was so cute! The squirrel with the big teeth was hilarious!
School is school. Nothing too exciting is going on in that department. I was doing really about not skipping classes this semester, but then the week before spring break (aka hell week) I was up so late doing work that I ended up not setting my alarm clock to go off at the right time.... 3 times... and thusly slept through them! OOPS! Now my go to class ethic has been compromised and I have missed a few for reasons other than poor alarm clock setting. (Like me being lazy and not wanting to get out of bed and walk there.) I really should try to do better... maybe next week.
Well that is all the interesting (or not so interesting) news I can think of for now... look for the next installment of "how is kate doing?" to show up sometime in April when I get bored and don't feel like doing work. Later! March 21, 2002
