May 2003 Rant

WOW... in just a week and a half I will be totally finished with my undergraduate career!! I cannot even believe it... where did the time go? I am starting to feel really really nostalgic about the whole thing, but maybe not quite as much so as Jen ;) It is hard for me to accept the fact that everyone will be going their seperate ways after May 18th (for some it is even earlier... Esther... yeah, I am talking about you). I love you all and you better keep in touch!

I am going to miss everyone here, but in a lot of ways I am ready to move on. I was accepted into the Clinical Psychology masters program at App State (YAY) and have been getting things together so I will be ready to move up there in August this year. I found an apartment, but am still looking for a roommate. Hey if you know anyone who might want to live with me... by all means let me know. In addition to these plans I have been helping my best friend, Shiloh, with some stuff for her wedding. She and John got engaged a little while ago and are planning a June ceremony... I am so happy for them! The past few days I have also been busy studying for exams. Two down three to go! However, in an effort to maintain my long standing relationship with procrastination, I am working on this site rather than catching up on the reading I need to do to prepare for them. Some things never change.

the new place Speaking of changes, my family has just moved again. They really are unstoppable, I swear they have some sort of clinical disorder. I wonder if they will ever settle down.... Anyway, here is a picture of the new place, Emerald Isle. This is the view off our back dock. Pretty ehhh? All in all, I am looking forward to all the changes that will soon be affecting my life. However, I will always have a soft place in my heart for the way things are in this very moment. April 29, 2003 (I know it isn't May yet... but I figure it's close enough)
