The Bear Sweater Project is a community service project of the Ol' North State Knitting Guild. We use our membership dues to buy stuffed bears and guild members knit sweaters for the bears. The bears are then donated to local law enforcement agencies. Officers give the bears to children in stressful situations to comfort them.
