· Edited submissions for "Lifestyle" section, including fashion, food, trends, interests
· Served on overall staff of twenty; attended meeting bimonthly to discuss article topics, previous and current issues, events, critiques
· Involved in content formatting and layout

Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, Chapel Hill, NC, Assistant Recruitment Chair, (Spring 2001 - Fall 2001)
· Assisted Recruitment Chair in organizing four "rounds" for recruitment
· Led 120 girls through practices, six hours/day/two weeks
· Helped Epsilon Chi chapter acquire 42 new members after two weeks of formal "rush"
· Helped maintain $2000 budget to be allotted among four events
· Worked with advisors to coordinate decorations, events
· Contacted local vendors and ordered supplies in bulk

Communications Chair, Public Relations Representative, (January 2000 - December 2000)
· Served as liaison between National Headquarters and Epsilon Chi chapter
· Prepared all national forms, applications, information and advertisements
· Designed and maintain communications information center
· Designed, produced and distributed directories for all members
· Attended executive board meeting weekly to discuss chapter events

UNC Dance Marathon 2000, 2001, Chapel Hill, NC, Dancer Coordinator, Public Communications Committee, (October 2000 - February 2001)
· Recruited approximately 300 volunteers and dancers to participate in a $100,000
fundraiser to benefit UNC Children's Hospital
· Served on overall committee; attended meeting weekly to obtain updates of progress
· Promoted Dance Marathon to the University and local community via flyers,
publications, statistical information, promotions

Elementary School Coordinator, Public Relations, Publicity Committee,
(October 1999-February 2000)
· Planned craft projects and theme events for three local elementary schools to
participate in Dance Marathon
· Helped plan first annual silent auction, which raised $13,000
· Promoted Dance Marathon 2000 and distributed advertisements throughout the
University and local community; raised $73,000 to benefit UNC Children's Hospital
