Continuum Movement: Continuum uses sound, breath and non-patterned micro-movement to vitalize the fluid system. Once enlivened, this primordial undulating wave motion facilitates the creative exploration and transformation of the person. One’s conditioned way of being in the world can be altered and the constraints of psychological and physical biases dissolved. The possibility of an emerging, evolving being becomes evident as we expand our movement vocabulary and explore primitive movements common to all life forms. An attempt is made to move beneath cultural influences. The engagement with the fluid system awakens a bio-intelligence that invites flexibility, fluidity, and wholeness. The essential elements of Continuum promote growth, health, mobility, and connection.

Jungle Gym: Exciting and energizing, we will explore the question “What is fitness?” using the basic elements of Emilie Conrad's Jungle Gym. Following the patterns of water (spirals, arcs, curves, and waves), we will use movement, the explorer board, weights, rollers and balls to inspire, strengthen, and expand your movement repertoire. Deep, dynamic, and expressive breathing accompany the exercises.

Somatic Restructuring: Somatic Restructuring is designed to enhance one’s physical well being. The emphasis is on teaching self-help interventions in order that the individual can maintain, independently, a healthier body mechanic. We explore resources needed to develop a greater ease of movement, reduce body tension, and improve body alignment for correct sitting, standing, walking, dancing, and sports activities. These goals will be achieved in large part by increasing flexibility and improving core support structures with an enhanced knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology.

Moving Psychotherapy: A moving Psychotherapy session is a safe place to free-associate with movement. The process fosters self awareness through an examination of movement preferences and their psychological correlates. New, more adaptive movement patterns and body feeling states can be learned, practiced and integrated. The modality is ideal for enhancing insight, body consciousness, catharsis and the integration of repressed feelings
