During the summer preceding my senior year of high school, I was chosen as a Student Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand. Of course I was ecstatic, because this was not only a wonderful experience, but I would finally get to see the love of my life face to face---the KOALA!!!

Now of course this is one of my all-time favorite pictures. This was the day I was able to hold a koala in my arms!!! I paid to take a picture with the koala and got this neat little card to go along with it! whoo hooo whooo hoo hooo hoo!

I took this picture while visiting the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. I was in heaven. Really.

Here, I am about to pet a kangaroo. They are cute too, but not as cute as koalas!!

These are pictures of the Sydney Opera House. BEAUTIFUL!

This is a picture of me standing in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

I have lots more pictures of my travels to Australia and New Zealand, but only decided to put up a few. If you would like to see more, just let me know! Australia and New Zealand are both BEAUTIFUL countries (Australia is both a continent and a country, just to let you know) and I would highly recommend if you get the chance, and the MONEY (its EXPENSIVE) then GO! It's well worth it!!
