This file contains a list of known Geotouch bugs that have not been addressed or may be too difficult to fix. In some cases a suggestion on how to avoid these is provided. =============================================== Wed Oct 4 12:46:24 EDT 1995 Zooming creates garbage map If you zoom in too far (numerous zooms, say 6 or 7 where the figure gets very small and the map extends to very large values) the map may produce some garbage. This is because plotting is done with integers in X11 and at some point the integers get too large as you zoom_in, producing bogus values to plot. To avoid this, Create a new, smaller scale, origin file using the shift-middle_mouse drag and start Geotouch again with the new origin. =============================================== Sun Oct 26 15:55:02 EST 1997 fixed bug in cross sections plotting focal mechanisms wrong in Postscript. =============================================== Tue Apr 27 16:03:17 EDT 1999 there is a bug When plotting Satellite images on SOLARIS This does not occur in Linux, So I do not know what is going on.
