Acceleration keys

 

q => Quit

a => Expand Amplitude

A => Shrink Amplitude

x => Picks local maximum (dumps out the maximum)

v => Create a V-pick (user pick)

w => Save window into Wlog file

n => Next set of traces

c => Toggle Relative/Absolute timing

r => Restore screen

s => Save V-Pix

b => Back a set of traces

u => Save window into Wlog

 

 

1-5=> Low Pass filters key=cutoff in seconds

0 => un-filter

         Refresh the current screen

Restore

         Restore the display to no zoom

PS File

         Dump a postscript file of current window

PS Print

         Dump a postscript file and send to printer

Ghostview

         Dump a postscript file and start ghostview on it

Quit

         Stop execution of seissig

 

 

Special Pull Down

 

Rel/Abs Time

         Toggle relative and absolute timing

XCorAll

         Frequency domain cross correlation of all traces in window

 

Un-Decimate

         Set decimation to 1 (no decimation)

Re-Decimate

         Reapply previous decimation

Decimate by 2

          Decimate by 2 (plot only half the points)

Decimate by 10

          Decimate by 10

XMAP1

         Runs the shell: XMAP8_SHELL1
this shell can be a geotouch command.  If set up properly it will show a map of the region with raypaths of the seismograms

XMAP2

         Runs the shell: XMAP8_SHELL2

Do SEISSIG_SHELL

         Runs the shell: SEISSIG_SHELL

Get JPix

         Looks for a file defined by ENV variable JXPIX, reads in the picks and plots them; format:
pickedfile,year,jday,mo,dom,hr,mi,sec, t2t1, rms, mean, max, min

Get MPix

          trash, pickedfile, imax, tim, vmax, therow

Clear Pix

         remove the pix

 

 

Get WPix

         Get W-Picks set by the window method
Shift-Left-Mouse-Drag
these are save in a file and can be retrieved and added to

        

Print  WPix

         Dump wpix to a file

Plot  WPix

         Toggle plotting the stored wpix

SAVE  WPix

         Save current wpix to a file

Delete Last  WPix

         Un-do last window wpix

Reset  WPix

         Reset wpix, start over

 

 

Options Pull Down

Change Nrows

         Change the number of rows displayed on screen
may have to restore to see the effect of this

 

Current Trace

         Sets the current selected trace (yellow square) to the top of the screen (i.e. re-sets the order of plotting

Scale(W/T)

         Toggles scaling by trace versus scaling in whole window

Overlay

         Overlay all traces on same axes

Rel/Abs Time

         Toggles Relative vs Absolute timing

Zoom_%

         Resets the Zoom percentage when zooming out and shifting left and right

 

 

PICKS Pull Down

Get Picks

         Gets picks from the output of ttimes (IASPEI91 model)
ttimes must be run prior to starting seissig, see perl scripts set up to do this

Dump Picks

         print out ttime picks

Plot P&S Picks

          Toggle plotting ttime picks

Plot All Picks

Toggle plotting all the picks produced by ttime

 

P-Align

         Align traces on P-wave arrival

U-Align

         Align traces on User pick

First-Align

         Align traces on First arrival (Pn for example)

V-Align

         Align traces on user determined pick adjustments
V-picks are made by pointing to a location and hitting the v-key

SAVE V Pix

         Save user V-Picks

Append V Pix

         Append user V-Picks

Plot V Picks

         Toggle user V-Picks

Show V Pix

         Plot user V-Picks

Get V Pix

         Get user V-Picks

Delete User_Picks

         Delete the file containing

         Toggle reverse polarity of current trace

         Must be in Abs time mode

         Drag left mouse button, then

         Shift Current trace distance of drag

 

 

Output Pull Down

Error Flag

         Print an error message to the screen

Special Flag

         Print a special Pick message to the screen

Trace Flip

         set up a trace flip using ah software

Trace Delete

         Print a message suggesting a delete of the trace

Ahcut

         Print out a message to use ah to cut a trace

Dump_Ascii

         Dump out all traces shown to an ASCII file

         locate in $DUMPING_GROUND

Dump_Ascii_TK

         Dump out all traces shown to an ASCII file
locate in $DUMPING_GROUND.  This format is
used in a set of program for displaying them later
using TCLTK codes

FILE LIST

         List out the current files in the display

 

 

Spectrum Pull Down

MultiTaper

         Dump multi-tape spectrum to an ASCII file in $DUMPING_GROUND

         Open new window and show MTM spectrum

MTM Evol

         Dump an Evolutive MTM spectrum (spectrogram)

         Restore zoom to original configuration

         Zoom out by zoom % (Default 10%)

         Shift Window left by Percent (Default 10%)
