Tungurahua Volcano, Ecuador,

October 2002

Jonathan Lees executed a pilot expedition at Tungurahua, an exploding volcano in Ecuador, in October 2002.  The deployment involved one broadband seismic sensor and an infra sonic microphone.  The volcano was quite active, and numerous tremors were recorded during a 27 hour period.  This constituted part of a Discovery Channel documentary filmed on this volcano during the deployment.
