We had to go back and re-do a three-mile section of the AT on Bromley Mountain where we lost the trail last year in a heavy rainstorm. This year we had better weather on this part of the trail. | |

Hurricane Irene posed a severe threat to hikers in late August 2011, and warning notices were posted at the trailheads. | |
