Carolina Undergraduate Philosophy Club

Homepage

". . . to create a forum in which students of the University of North Carolina can approach philosophy both informally and educationally."

The Carolina Undergraduate Philosophy Club is an UNC-CH recognized undergraduate student organization. Membership in the club requires no special qualification except an intrest in participating in philosophical discussion.

Philosophy Club meetings typically consist of informal discussion of a philolosophical topic. In past semesters we have covered a diverse set of topics from ethical issues regarding euthenasia to determinism. Members of the club are free to propose topics for discussion any time.

In order to facilitate this the club maintains an email listserve and all members of the listserve are able to post and receive emails regarding business of the club. In the past discussion about philosophical topics has also been apart of the club listserve, and club members are free to discuss philosophy as well as business-proper of the club on the list.

Stephen Lenhart chaired the philosophy club in the 2000-2001 school year but graduated in May 2001.
