personal commentary

If I should ever have any big or exciting personal news or opinions this will be the place to find and read them!

April 11, 2003:

I have accepted an internship position from May 12, 2003 through July 4, 2003 with Congressman Tom Davis, the current Chairman of the House Reform Committee, and the representative from Northern Virginia. I am very excited about this opportunity because I want to work in politics eventually, and the staff in Davis' office seems great so far.

I have also been offered a position with North Carolina Senator Elizabeth Dole, for the first session also. If they are able to change sessions and allow me to work for the second half of the summer, I will take the position. If they are unable to change sessions, I am also waiting to hear back from Williams & Connelly a law firm in D.C.

Yesterday, I presented my honors thesis proposal, and the final copy is due Sunday. I am very excited to have completed the first part of my undergraduate thesis because it has consumed much of my time this semester. I am still studying for the LSAT, which I hope to take in June, but I may have to wait until October to be fully prepared.
