This chicken house stands empty with it's doors open. The reason is a complex situation, the relationship between poultry companies and the farmers they employ to grow their product. The story of John Smith* demonstrates how big business is taking it's toll on our agriculture system and it's farmers. Something must be done if we want to prevent big business from ruining our agriculture and the lives of it's hard-working farmers. Read on and you will discover the problem with contract agriculture.
