I am a doctoral student in the School of Information & Library Science at UNC Chapel Hill. Prior to being a doctoral student, I worked in information technology for about 10 years after working in the theater.

I'm interested in how people live their lives virtually, particularly how they communicate and share information in technically-mediated environments. I am curious about how technology influences information behavior and how people respond creatively to technological change. See research interests for more details.
