Hi. Welcome to my Web site. I'm a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I'm a graphic design major in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

This summer I'm taking two summer school classes and bartending at night. I also just got a part-time job as a designer at the Herald-Sun, a newspaper in Durham, NC. Yeah, I know I'll be busy as hell, but this is my career and you have to work if you want to get anywhere.

I grew up in Garner, NC, a small and terrible town just outside of Raleigh, NC. Now I live in Chapel Hill, NC (actually Carrboro, but they're pretty much the same town). I love it here and might stay here after graduation if the job offer is good. If not, I'm probably going to move to San Francisco to join my friends who moved out there a few months ago.

What else... Hmmm....I live by myself, well, I live with my cat, but that doesn't count. I spend most of my time in front of a computer these days or working at the bar. If I have any free time or money I go to some of the locals bars like Hell and Henry's Bistro, go biking, take yoga classes, shoot pictures, or go see shows at the Cat's Cradle. The last two shows I saw were Jimmy Eat World and Built to Spill. They were both good shows. Some of my other favorite bands are Hot Water Music, Knapsack, Sunny Day Real Estate, Texas is the Reason, Snapcase, Cave In, Jawbreaker and several others I can't think of right now.

Knapsack: This is the web site is dedicated to the band Knapsack, one of my favorites if not my FAVORITE. They have broken up recently and I never got a chance to see them! Can you believe that? Well, anyway, this page has news of the breakup and you can find some bio information and lyrics.
Jimmy Eat World : This is a Jimmy Eat World Site. You can buy their CD's and get bio info and tour info here.
Herald-Sun On-line : This is the on-line version of the Herald-Sun (the newspaper where I work, remember). It doesn't have current news (i.e. today's news), because it doesn't cost anything to visit. The paper won't make any money if people can look at it on the Net for free. If you want today's news go to...
CNN: This is where I go every morning for the news. If you're like me you don't watch enough television or have the time to catch the news. It's one of my favorite sites because I'm in journalism school.
Hot Water Music Official: Hot Water Music is one of my favorite bands and this is a great website to find all the info you would want on HWM. I'm going to see them June 18 in Winston-Salem. Hopefully they'll let me take some pictures and, if so, I'll post 'em.
