Don't blame me for what you get in to!

My name is Shauni Danielle Lowrance. I'm a Senior Poli Sci major at UNC-CH. Believe it or not I'm from a little crossroads named Lizard Lick,NC. Most people have heard of it, but they don't believe it exists. I'm the oldest of four kids. I have two sisters and a brother, and two years ago, I was blessed with the sweetest little boy in the world as my nephew, Dre. My Momma is Superwoman. Hands down she's the greatest lady alive. She recently received her second masters degree from UNC in school administration. She has raised me and my siblings all by herself since I was 11. She always made time to come out to track meets and basketball games and everything else we did no matter how busy she was.

I plan on going to law school after graduation, and take up entertainment law. I listen to a lot of music, and lately there has been a barrage of artists "borrowing" others' beats and songs, and I'm very curious as to how they can use them and not give credit to the true artists. I also want to know exactly how contracts work, and all of the legalities that artists say restrict the creative freedom.

I'm a rather simple person. I'm not one to keep a lot of friends, but the ones I do have are very special people. When we get to gether we always have a good time. Two of my friends are now my roommates-My best friend from home, Kionna. She's been my buddy since the sixth grade. And my friend, Shana, affectionately known as "Ghetto-D". She wants to be everyone's momma; she doesn't like to see her friends get hurt. One of my other best buddies is Charis, also known as Bartok, the little bat from the movie Anastasia. She's my eccentric, off-the-beaten-path friend. She has never been one for conforming. I wouldn't call her scatter-brained but she definitely goes through more thoughts in one minute than most people go through in one day :)
