There are hotels and convents located near L'Ecole that provide a spectrum of options for your accommodation. You may visit their websites by selecting the links at the left. Group lodging rates have been negotiated at a significantly discount from the public rates posted on these sites.

The main conference hotel where the banquet will be held is the Hotel Jerusalem. This higher quality hotel, located opposite L'Ecole, is especially recommended for those desiring more amenities and comfort, and especially for those with institutional support for their conference attendence. Please contact conference co-organizer Basem Ra'ad for reservations. (You can also confirm directly with the hotel by emailing Ibtihaj or Raed at raed@jrshotel.com or calling +972-2-6283282 or +972-2-6288982. Please ask for the conference rate and let Basem know of your reservation.) NOTE: THE HOTEL JERUSALEM IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.

A less expensive hotel ($54 single, $68 double) is the Mount Scopus Hotel on Sheikh Jarrah (phone number +972-2-5828891). Please contact the manager Taghreed for reservations at mtscopus@netvision.net.il and let Basem know of your plans.

Another alternative is to stay at the St. Thomas Home on Chaldean Street 6, POB 19787, Jerusalem 91197 (no website). This convent is located in a quiet alley next to the Hotel Jerusalem, has no curfew, and offers a breakfast buffet. Single rooms cost about $55 per night, doubles about $75, and triples about $95. Many rooms have been reserved at this convent but must be confirmed in March to hold them. If you wish to stay at the St. Thomas home, please email Basem Ra'ad as soon as possible with the dates you wish to reserve (between the 13th and the 22nd)and the type of room you need. The direct contact for the St. Thomas Home is Ronnie Hazu at ronniemontana@gmail.com, phone number +972-2-6282657.

Another option is to stay at the convent of the Fransciscaines de Marie (White Sisters). It on Nablus Road just a short walk from L'Ecole. The rate ~$45 for a single and ~$60 for a double room, all with individual baths, AC, and breakfast. Please note the this facility has an 11:00pm curfew.
