(Commercial transcript from the Partnership for a Drug Free America's Website: <http://www.mediacampaign.org/mg/television.html>)

The previous little skit was one of many Anti-drug commercials that have been on television the past few years. I know that spreading public knowledge and awareness is beneficial, and may slow teen drug-usage, but I have issues with these commercials. The main reason is because of the exaggerated message that is conveyed. First of all, it is true that marijuana can be harmful. But even more harmful is a parent who leaves a loaded gun sitting in the den of their house.

The following is research that includes many resources on the anti-drug commercials. I completed this assignment for my JOMC 50 class.
