Job Market Candidate 2007-2008I am a Ph.D. candidate in the department of economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My areas of specialization include Labor Economics (J) and Economics of Education (I2). My dissertation research is on the policy impact of increasing homework time on academic achievement among high school students, as well as the influence of labor market conditions and measures of school quality on students education decisions. My teaching experience includes two semesters as an independent instructor, two semesters as a head T.A. and one semester as a TA for Principles of Economics and intermediate microeconomics.
