Outlining certain characters in black really helped bring the mural to life. We also had been undecided as to what we were going to on the wall adjacent to Wall #1 (the one with the Caterpillar and the Tea Party). You can see below that I started paining the Talking Flowers over on this wall, and as you'll see in the next series of pix, I eventually decided to put Alice on this wall, and the White Rabbit. But I also was careful to keep it simple, since, as explained in the beginning, I didn't want the mural too crazy or over-powering.
