Meg Wallace

Hi. My name is Meg Wallace. I am a sixth year graduate student in the Philosophy Department at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

My interests are primarily in Metaphysics, Ontology, and related areas of Philosophy of Language, with side interests in Philosophy of Mind, Logic, and Philosophy of Religion.

I am currently working on my dissertation, which defends the view that composition is identity by utilizing a plural logic and language and invoking a novel system of counting. I aim to show how mereology can be ontologically innocent, and how this might impact traditional puzzles of constitution. For links some of my dissertation chapters, go here (link coming soon).
