I think that the instructor tried to cover the information too quickly, worrying more about quantity of covereage instead of the quality of coverage. I would much rather learn half of what we learned and been able to actually FULLY understand the material. I think the instructor did not use enough examples, nor did he take time to really explain everything. Although willing to answer questions in class, the instructor always seemed as if he needed to finish a certain amount and that your question was somewhat rushed.

This was a very interesting class, I think that it did go at an accelerated rate. I think more examples need to be gone over in class because I am able to learn more by doing the problem and less on theory.

Great class and teacher. Examples were the key to such good teaching.

MATLAB assignments were not necessary. Quizzes and tests are good enough to make students busy

The class takes up a lot of time every week because of the quizes. There should be only a quize every other week. The exams are fair, however it is hard to finish in 50 minutes. Overall, this was a good class.

I learned a lot and enjoyed the class.

great teacher, easy to understand, great use of examples to explain, always willing to help, i just wish that matlab wasn''t counted so heavily, and there was maybe one more test before the final to help finalize the last material covered.

Tests and quizzes seemed to be a little tricky, but computer projects made up for them if you spent time on them. Overall, I think I learned a lot in the class and will be able to use the methods learned for solving differential equations in my future engineering classes.

Very enjoyable year. Teacher made material easy to understand and clear. Exams were a little difficult, but grading was fair. TA not approachable, and didn''t seem to have a grasp on things.

I can say without reservation that you are the best math instructor I''ve had. You seemed genuinely interested in helping students with the course material in and out of class. Your pacing was faster than most courses, but it was almost always easy to follow. Thanks for the great class.

You were a great teacher but I thought that both tests were too difficult for the time allotted. 50 min is not a lot of time to do 5 problems. It was alot better on the final. But I made a couple stupid mistakes only because I could not go over it at the end b/c of time. So either make your test 4 problems or a little less difficulty. But, you were a great teacher and I thought I learned alot from the notes and not from the book.

Increase the time for the weekly quizzes by 10 minutes. Overall this course was very informative and I got a lot out of it.

Jason Knows his stuff really well. He explains the material effectivly. His class was not a cake walk by any means.I think the best part about Jason is that he was always around for help if i needed it. GT should be happy that they havea teacher like him.

Jason is the best teacher that I have encountered durring my time at GT. In class he stated by quickly reviewing what we learned yesterday then would proceed in clearly explaing the new material. Stopping frequently to make sure people understood the material and would ask if there were any questions. His office hour... well I dont really know when his office hour was, because he was always there ready to answer all my questions pretty much any time that I just randomly stopped buy. I felt that the coures was challenging and thanks to Jason I feel very confident in the material.

I tried to come up with something bad about your teaching style or about the course in general. But I can''t. Great Job! This was the best math course that I''ve had.
