Course Catalog Description:  Math 751

Final Project:  There will be no collected assignments or exams for this course.  The students are, however, strongly encouraged to complete the exercises in the text.  The final grade for the course will be based on class participation and a final project.  The final project will be a 6-8 page essay on a more advanced topic related to the course material.  The instructor is happy to help you to select a topic, and the topic of your project should be approved by the instructor by Nov. 9.  The project is due on the last day of lecture, Dec. 5.
