OK, here is some work that I have done this semester that shows off some of my advertising skills. This is kind of the first time I have done any projects like these so don't be too critical! Remember, production value counts, but it is the IDEA behind the ad that counts! |

This first project required me to create a billboard template. The client was Pepsi and the idea to be conveyed was that Pepsi was a normal thing to have with breakfast. Like to creative brief we were assigned said, I tried to convey that it was cold, refreshing, caffinated, and was better than coffee

LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS, OH MY! The next set of ads I have for you are four little sketches I made for a quick campaign for the North Carolina Zoo. There was a different criteria assigned to each, which served as the basis for the idea for each.

This is the last individual project I have done. This print ad is for Gibson Guitars, the kind that musicians like Eric Clapton and Robert Plant use. The idea here was to try to convince guitar players, ages 16-25, that they would just sound better playing a Gibson.

Entitled Gabriel Conroy's Identity and Sense of Masculinity in James Joyce's "The Dead", this essay was written for one of my English classes during the Spring 2002 semester. It analyzes Gabriel Conroy, the main character in "The Dead," the last story in Joyce's The Dubliners. |
