-On every page will have the global navigation bar which will bring you to the sections listed below.

-Each page will contain a search box.  I am hoping that we can improve the search function to work only within the papyri archive based on the metadata for the records so that users can bring up records directly.

-Also every page will contain links for contact, Duke libraries, and Special Collections, Top of archive in Luna Insight.

This is where information can be differentiated between scholars and not. Or could create separate section “Research”  See also Published Papyri Section

 

Insight

Section will contain brief explanation of Luna Insight

Search

Will have search box at top then indicate two sections:

Section (I) will contain links to information related to searching the archive

Section (II) will contain links to information related to searching Duke’s catalog

Browse Info

Depending on how the keywords work out this section may not be necessary.

Also depending on what the list in the search section are handled, the info could end up here.  Not sure what the search interface will perform and how to incorporate browsing.

Published Papyri

Section will contain references to where papyri are published and list of papyri that are published

Also a place where scholarly work could be added.  (Still unclear how scholars “publish” in this field).

 

Checklist ????

Separate section.  Not sure what its function is?  Arabic page is part of section but doesn’t fit in.  Why not?

Current links are Under “Checklist of Editions” on homepage.

May end up within another section such as Other helpful resources.

OUT-LINKS refers to the number of times a particular page is linked to according to google.
