INLS 235: Seminar in Digital Libraries

 

This course addresses research and development issues in digital libraries, including: collection development and digitization; mixed mode holdings; access strategies and interfaces; metadata and interoperability; economic and social policies such as intellectual property and equity; technologically enabled, global communities; and management and evaluation. Students read and discuss documents (paper and electronic), evaluate a DL of their choice, and produce a term project or paper.
