FAMILIAR TECHNIQUES

Experience with surveying equipment, compasses, GPS units, clinometers, salinometers, pH meters, and many other tools. Experience measuring bedload, stream velocity and turbulence. Familiar with sampling biomass and invertebrates in wetland environments. Experience sampling vegetation in a wide variety of upland and wetland habitats.  Familiar with taxonomy of marine and freshwater plants and algae.
