Alumna Advisor

Katherine has served on the Advisory committee for the Alpha Sigma (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) Chapter of the Delta Delta Delta Fraternity. This committee is a team of local alumnae who supervise the activities of collegiate chapter officers. She first volunteered as the Lifetime Membership Advisor during the 2003-2004 academic year. She has served as the chairman of the advisory team, the Alumna Advisor, ever since.

In her role as Alumna Advisor, Katherine has undergone leadership, crisis, and risk management training. She has attended regional leadership training meetings, as well as national training workshops focusing on effective management, public relations and philanthropy.

In 2005, The Carolina Greek Community recognized Katherine for her role as Alumna Advisor by nominating her for the Outstanding Chapter Advisor award.
