Applied Study Overview

The purpose of this document is to provide the student with an outline of what applied study of the trombone, euphonium, or tuba involves. The overview is broken into “categories” containing goals, examples of repertoire and performance experiences that will help the student improve. The overview is a flexible document and can be molded to fit every student based upon their experience and ability at the time they begin their study.
