Friends are
invited to join family in a celebration of life for Eliana Bell Barrera
at Faith Lutheran
Church
on Saturday, December 4, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. Eliana fell asleep with
her parents and woke up in the arms of her Lord
on Friday, November 26, 2004.
Eliana was
born in Oregon City, Oregon
on August 10, 2003 to Henry and Melody Barrera.
She will be remembered by her grandpa Barrera as his “golden
princess.” We will all be forever
changed by the imprint that Eliana has left on our hearts.
She touched more hearts in her short life
than many do in a lifetime. As we say
goodbye to our beautiful baby girl we rejoice in Christ’s promise that
we will
be with her again in heaven.
Eliana was a gift from God. Her
courageous spirit will be missed by
many. She is survived by her loving
parents Henry and Melody Barrera; Great-grandparents, Eileen Bell,
Enrique and
Sara Barrera, and Elodia Perales; Grandparents, Gregg and Virginia
Lundquist, and
Enrique and Graciela Barrera; Aunts,
Marla Conser, Melinda Denton, Hidie Maki, Elena Reyes, and Alicia
Barrera; Uncles,
Dennis Conser, Jason Denton, and Rene Reyes and a host of friends.
Service
Information:
A
service to celebrate the life of Eliana Bell Barrera will be held on
Saturday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 6140 NE
Stanton St., Portland, OR 97213
(503-288-5397). A reception will follow.
Open
viewing will be held at Gresham Funeral Chapel, 257 SE Roberts,
Gresham, OR 97080. Viewing hours will be on Thursday, December 2
and Friday, December 3
from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
