I give several short courses which are free for UNC students, faculty, and staff. These lectures relate to software, so more information can be found on mycomputing page. My final short courses will be in Manning Hall room 01 at the following times:

Here are the additional readings from newspapers that we will use in class to supplement the text. The date on which we will use a reading is written in bold at the beginning of each entry. From fall 2003 to spring 2005, I served as a teaching assistant for four semesters at UNC. At the ICPSR Summer Institute (University of Michigan) I served as a teaching assistant for Longitudinal Data Analysis (2006), Regression Analysis I (2007 & 2008), and Time Series Analysis (2007). From spring 2007 to spring 2008, I taught "Introduction to Government in the United States" for three semesters at UNC.
