Prince Rogers Nelson was born on June 7, 1958 in Minneapolis. He is my all-time favorite singer, performer and songwriter. He entered the music scene in the 1970's. From the beginning Prince nad his music was sexy and provocative. His biggest influences were Little Richard, James Brown, and Jimi Hendrix. Prince's first hit song was "I Wanna Be Your Lover", which came out in 1979. Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
