like running a marathon

I'm so ready to go home. I hate days like this: getting ready for back-to-back meetings, running the GSA meeting, sitting in the faculty meeting, sitting in the methods class, no time to think, no time to work on my study. Still, I met with the last professor I needed to ask about approaching MAT students for participation in my study and she gave her approval. She also gave me some good tips for conducting the study: stress the community-building aspects of the research, strive for positive interactions among the students/participants, remember that IRB revisions are trying to improve my methodology, not create havoc with my timeline. So, amidst all the chaos of running up and down hallways, I've cleared another hurdle for my research. Now I need IRB so I can officially approach students...
