everyone's hitched

Back home after a college friend's wedding yesterday. Very simple, very sweet - and the last one of us to get married (as the person reporting the event, I exclude myself from the category). Now we have to invent reasons to get everyone together; it's much easier to have a wedding scheduled on the calendar. Maybe I'll add "event coordinator" to my "honorary aunt" duties. Could be difficult, however. I love my college friends but when you're the only unmarried one, not to mention one of four without kids, it's next to impossible to interest them in late-night socializing. I'm not exactly up to pulling an all-nighter at the bar but it would be nice to not be in my room by 10:30 on a Saturday night. I've got to get out more.
