Looking for a wonderful
companion? A partner to stand faithfully by your side
as you face life? Think about adopting a Greyhound.
And not just any Greyhound....a BLACK Greyhound! |
This is a website dedicated to Black Greyhounds, which are
sometimes hard to place simply because of their color. I suppose that it's a stigma brought on by the undeserved stereotype of Doberman Pinschers and Rottweilers. Too
many people believe that a dog that's black is "evil" or indicates
that the dog is "vicious." Or perhaps black Greyhounds are
harder to adopt than other colors because it is such a common
color. Whatever the reason, many groups find it more
difficult to find homes for their black dogs than any other
color. |

is the way we like to see Meet & Greets. An all
black dog review! Hollydogs members from left to right
~ Jimmy-6 yrs old, Calvin-7 , Cupid -6 and Nala- 2.
I am told out of the 5 dogs to show up at this M&G, only
one was fawn. These were the other four. |
Now
here's a black crew! From left to right: Emmy,
Arrow, Andy, & Saint, loved and owned by Judy and Michael
Losey. (Note:
Andy and Emmy are brother and sister and Arrow and Saint
are brothers.)

What's
better than a black greyhound? What's more fun than
a barrel of monkeys? That
would be a litter of black greyhound puppies!!! This
particular litter owns Kate and John Shue and are, from
left to right: Pearl, Roseanne, Emmy and Oscar at 34 days
old at the time the picture was taken. They
look innocent enough, don't they?
Update: These pups are now more than a year old and they are ready to start racing! Check out their web site!
